WWE: Watch – TLC PPV 2017 Full Results: October 22, 2017
When it comes to the TLC PPV, it always gives us some chaotic moments to remember.
Last night, it was no different, as The Shield was in action with Kurt Angle returning to their side after a decade. It was a must-watch main event. Apart from that, two championship matches were also stored for the night. Here are the full results from WWE TLC PPV hosted at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Sasha Banks vs Alicia Fox (Kick-off show)
The match started with Sasha Banks assaulting Alicia Fox for hitting her from the back on Raw. This bad blood affected the match as a whole, as these two continued to attack each other as hard as possible. In the end, Sasha recovered from a vicious fall on the floor and applied Bank Statement for the win.
Finn Bálor vs AJ Styles
The audience was completely into this match, as these two locked horns. The ‘two sweet’ chants filled the arena with both Balor and AJ delivering to a huge extent. Styles hit a Pele Kick alongside a springboard forearm for a near fall. Balor put AJ down with a superkick and connected with the Coup De Grace for the win.
Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann vs Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick
There were a few interested in this contest. Gallagher and Swann got out of the match via a headbutt. Inside the ring, Swann somehow managed to hit a superkick allowing Cedric to connect with the Lumbercheck for the win.
Asuka vs Emma
The crowd gave a huge ovation to Asuka’s debut which fell short due to the needless lengthy contest that it was. Emma put up a huge resist against her opponent before eating a kick to the face following with the Asuka lock to tap out.
Alexa Bliss (c) vs Mickie James (WWE Raw Women’s Championship)
Mickie continued to mock Bliss with her biscuit butt for the better part of the match. She hit a superkick to the face for a near-fall. Bliss pulled her opponent to the turnbuckle and then hit with the pendant DDT move to pick up the win and retain her title at TLC.
Kalisto (c) v. Enzo Amore (WWE Cruiserweight Championship)
Enzo Amore became the new Cruiserweight champion via dirty tricks, once again. While the referee was rearranging the ring apron, he poked into Kalisto’s eyes and then hit the JawdnJo move for the win. After the match, he came up with another heel promo for the crowd.
Elias vs Jason Jordan
Elias tried to sing in front of the crowd for a couple of times but failed as Jordan threw a number of vegetables to him from the crowd. It set up the impromptu matchup between the two of them. Jason pulled off an easy victory after hitting his opponent with a neck-breaker cum slam to the mat.
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins), Kurt Angle vs The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane, Cesaro, Sheamus (Tables, Ladders and Chairs match)
Alongside Kurt Angle, Ambrose and Rollins got a Shield-like entrance. Strowman went after Angle and put him through the table to take him out of the contest. In the meantime, a miscommunication between Kane and Strowman sent the latter one out of the match, as he was taken out with a garbage truck.
Later, Rollins and Ambrose received a beatdown from their four opponents until Angle came back in a huge pop. The GM took out Sheamus, Cesaro, and Kane before attacking The Miz. He received the pendant powerbomb from the Shield to suffer the pinfall loss.
