WWE: What to Expect from this Week’s Raw: April 2, 2018

It is that one night of the year where a star galore is a must on WWE TV.

Tonight marks the go-home episode of WWE Raw which will make the final buildup for Wrestlemania. Most of the names performing at the biggest event of the year are expected to be present on the show to give a boost to the ratings. A huge main event has been announced between the two superstars that will fight in the IC title match.

Furthermore, a mouth-watering confrontation has been announced to take place featuring all the authority figures of the WWE Raw brand and Ronda Rousey. Plus, we expect to hear from a Deadman which will confirm the status of a dream match at Wrestlemania 34. All of these will go down at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

As per the announcement from last week, there will be a face-off where Kurt Angle, Ronda Rousey, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will share the same ring together. The thought of Ronda and Stephanie standing in the same ring force the fans to think about something very interesting might happen.

WWE.com also promises the same thing giving a brief reminder from the last time,

“Triple H and Stephanie are intensely competitive, and it’s clear that Rousey’s takedown of the Raw Commissioner and Kurt Angle’s excruciating Angle Lock on The Game — a move he’s all too familiar with — have only fueled their WrestleMania preparation. Given the pride at stake at WrestleMania in their Mixed Tag Team Match, what will happen when these four powerful personalities converge under the same roof on the final Raw before The Show of Shows?”

Till date, the babyfaces have been in firm control of the feud with Triple H and Stephanie were not much seen on the television in recent times.

But, with them being coming back, business is about to pick up. These two are the bosses and do not like to get humiliated by others. Hence, it is evident that they will try to backfire at the very last moment showing their potential at the upcoming mixed tag team contest at Wrestlemania.

Despite John Cena calling out The Undertaker for the past several weeks, we have not heard or seen him addressing this situation.

Tonight is the final edition of WWE Raw before Wrestlemania which is the last time to make the match official on the card. It is likely that we will hear an answer from him unless WWE officials plan to host it in an unsanctioned way on this Sunday.

The physical condition of Roman Reigns is a matter of discussion for the fans for quite sometimes. For two consecutive weeks, Brock Lesnar came up with disturbing attacks which are hard to watch. We will get to know whether he is ready for the main event showdown. He is a man of his words and should be present on the show, unlike the part-time champion.

The main event of WWE Raw will be hosted between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor which has all the potential to steal the show. The Miz would like every bit of this match since he knows this contest will suck out the energy from them. Meanwhile, Nia Jax has yet to get her hands on Alexa Bliss after the verbal assault that she suffered, a couple of weeks ago.

She might try to go for it, once again before competing in the Wrestlemania championship match.
