WWE superstars are going through a hectic schedule, right now. Just two days ago, they were in Saudi Arabia, whereas, now they are scheduled to appear on WWE Raw from Canada.
They will get the least amount of time to hype-up the Backlash PPV which is scheduled to take place on this upcoming Sunday Night. So, this is going to be the go-home show for the PPV night.
The focus would remain on the Greatest Royal Rumble winner, Braun Strowman, as he prepares to get more significant things in future. Also, a couple of more matches and the final buildups for the dual-branded Backlash PPV event will be seen on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw. It is set to be hosted by the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Braun Strowman won the Greatest Royal Rumble match which was pretty much expected. Right now, he might be the most popular face among the fans on the entire WWE Raw roster. So, much bigger things should be in-store for him in the future.
As per WWE.com, new challenges will be waiting for him which should book him for the upcoming PPV show,
“The Monster Among Men overcame 49 other combatants to win the first-ever 50-Man Royal Rumble Match last night at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia. Who will be next to face the wrath of The Monster Among Men following that historic win? We’ll find out on Raw!”
Roman Reigns was not successful to snatch the Universal title away from Brock Lesnar on this past Friday night. After getting back to back opportunities, he is supposed to stay away from the title picture, at least for sometimes.
Meanwhile, Samoa Joe is waiting for him at the Backlash PPV event. Tonight, Reigns will deliver a major statement on his opponent via a match or a promo.
On the women’s division, the final hype up will be seen for the championship match between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax. Ronda Rousey is the headliner of the female roster, right now.
It is interesting to see her making an ally with Natalya and protecting her ever since coming on WWE Raw. We will see if anyone dares to step into the ring against her, tonight.
Seth Rollins was able to retain his Intercontinental championship at the Greatest Royal Rumble PPV event. For now, he is without any opponent at the Backlash PPV. It is likely that the GM will announce a new challenge for him from the WWE Raw roster. The same can be said for the current WWE Raw tag team champions, as well.
Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy will start a new era full of ‘Wokenness’ on the flagship show, starting from tonight.
