WWE: What to Expect from this Week’s Raw: August 28th, 2017 1

Last week, we witnessed the fallouts from the Summerslam PPV on WWE Raw. The biggest event of the summer was just over, but the episode paved the way for the next PPV, in line that is No Mercy. To promote the event, WWE has already made the main event official for that night between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman.

Plus, we have seen a huge return of John Cena to the flagship show after a hiatus of more than a year. Apart from these two hype ups, the supposed main event of this week’s WWE Raw has been declared already that will be contested for a championship. The show will take place at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.

Last week, Brock Lesnar was victimised by the monster among men on WWE Raw. No one has manhandled the beast the way Strowman did for two consecutive nights including Summerslam. It forced the Raw GM to book the main event match at No Mercy PPV.

Now, wwe.com has not enlisted the beast incarnate to appear on this week’s show. But, he is being speculated to come in a surprising capacity. It will allow him to seek redemption against Strowman and hype up the next PPV. The main event will witness the Raw Women’s Championship match between Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss. The Boss had just won the title at the Summerslam PPV, and hence chances are fewer that it will change hands. But, the feud is expected to extend till No Mercy.

The Miz was quite furious over his title not being on the line at the biggest party of the summer. So, he went for another shoot to the officials on WWE Raw, last week. As per the speculations, the creative team has arranged a bigger feud for him from now onwards, and it is none other than against Samoa Joe. The feud is expected to kick-off from tonight.

After the confrontation between John Cena and Roman Reigns took place, last week, it is expected that these two might lock horns at the No Mercy PPV. We will get to know whether this mammoth feud between the two franchise players is one the card or not.

Plus, a tag team championship rematch is owed by Sheamus & Cesaro. It will be interesting to see whether they get it tonight or have to wait for some more.
