WWE Raw has not been up to the mark for the last few episodes. Lack of exciting segments is a big reason for this.
But MITB PPV is coming closer. We are less than two weeks away from this exciting show of the year. We expect The show to backfire the critics with a packed episode on tonight. Four solid matches are on the card.
Two former Universal Champions will square off in a match on WWE Raw. It will be a first-time affair on the show. We expect to get new number contenders for the tag team titles in a battle royal. Ronda Rousey will also be in the house when the episode comes live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
Braun Strowman is the biggest contender for the MITB briefcase. Tonight he gets another chance to pick up the momentums against Bobby Roode. It is the first-time ever matchup between these two. There’s no doubt that Strowman is the favourite to win this contest bulldozing the Glorious One.
The second big contest on WWE Raw will witness the two former champions squaring off in a blockbuster contest. Finn Balor and Kevin Owens will surely come up with a solid contest.
These two were bitter rivals on WWE NXT. They will renew the feud for one night on the flagship show. WWE.com hyped this match with the following comments,
“Owens inserted himself into this past Monday’s match pitting Bálor against Braun Strowman, and WWE’s first Universal Champion seemed primed to defeat The Monster Among Men until KO intervened and caused a disqualification. Retribution will surely be on the Irishman’s mind when he squares off against his bitter foe on Raw.”
The WWE Raw women’s champion will be in action on tonight against The Queen Of Harts, Natalya. Ronda Rousey should be present by the latter one’s corner. These two are training partners in the WWE. The champion, Nia Jax will look forward to squash Nattie to deliver a big statement to her challenger at MITB.
Roman Reigns will be back to his yard after one week’s hiatus. He took last week off to spend time with his family. His comeback will not be good news for Jinder Mahal. Seth Rollins will have to turn his attention from Mahal to Elias. This man is the new contender for the IC title.
A tag team battle royal will take place on the show. The winners will become the contenders for the WWE Raw tag team titles. The B-team is the current momentum holders in the tag division. They have the best chance to come up as the winners. It will give them the very first shot to the titles.
