WWE: What To Expect From This Week’s Smackdown Live: June 20, 2017 1

The exciting Money in the Bank PPV for 2017 is in the history books as we look forward. On tonight’s episode of Smackdown, we will be witnessing the fallout from the show. Also, the buildup for the next Smackdown-exclusive PPV will begin on this night. It is going to be the Battleground PPV in July.

Two exciting returns are expected on the show, whereas, Daniel Bryan will also be back. He has been absent ever since Wrestlemania season was over. Quite evidently, this is going one packed edition of the Tuesday Night show which will be hosted by the Wright State University Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio.

As we have reported earlier, Daniel Bryan is returning to the show, tonight. He will have a bigger task at hand in the form of the controversial decision of letting Carmella winning the Money in the Bank briefcase by the present officials.

He has already declared it as a cheap victory and certainly going to make a bigger announcement on this matter. Apart from this, the rumours from The Observer also suggested that he is going to reveal a blockbuster decision from Smackdown for the Summerslam PPV.

In the men’s division, we have crowned Baron Corbin as the Money in the Bank briefcase winner. But, in the process, he has built up a rivalry with none other than Shinsuke Nakamura. That is supposed to continue until we get the next PPV in line, Battleground.

Jinder Mahal has been able to retain his championship, successfully at the bygone PPV. It is expected that he is not yet done with his feud against Randy Orton even after this second victory over the Viper. For now, he is expected to square off against Randy at the July-PPV in a special stipulation.

The same can be said for the Women’s title, as well. After getting past Lana, Naomi will be looking for newer challenges in the division. The never-executed rivalry between her and Natalya might take-off from tonight’s Smackdown.

Plus, the future of the US title and Tag Team title will also be addressed on the show, as we might get the new title matches. Also, Maria and Mike Kanellis should start their future planning by entering in a feud with a Smackdown superstar.
