Smackdown continued to give us interesting episodes from Wrestlemania onwards.

This should continue tonight, as we have already heard of a string of segments. There will be not one, but three MITB qualifying matches to headline the show. One of them is for the last spot available for the men’s division match.

The other two will fill up the last two spots available for the female superstars from the blue brand. A special edition of Miz TV will also be there with three entertaining guests on the show.

Plus, the anticipation is higher about the possible stipulation for the upcoming WWE Championship match. All of these will emanate from Smackdown that takes place at the DCU (Digital Credit Union) Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Due to the upcoming MITB PPV event, the prime focus of the show will remain on the qualifying matches.

A first-time ever match will take place on the show where Jeff Hardy will go one-on-one against Daniel Bryan. The latter one is undoubtedly favourite to win the contest while his current rival recovers from an injury. Bryan vs Joe should be the main event of next week’s Smackdown.

In the other qualifiers, four women will compete for the remaining two spots from Smackdown. Lana got an opportunity to fight Billie Kay of the IIconics. For now, the latter team is in the middle of a push. So, one half of them are the favourite to head onto the MITB match, the presence of Peyton by the ringside should give her partner, the upper hand.

In the remaining contest, Sonya Deville will get another opportunity to compete in the MITB ladder match; she will compete against Naomi. The women’s battle royal winner at Wrestlemania is the undoubted favourite to win. Her high-flying ability is suitable for a ladder match. The creative team should not make any such mistake.

Shinsuke Nakamura won a match against AJ Styles on last week’s Smackdown. It gave him the right to decide the stipulation about WWE Championship match at MITB.

The question remains that which gimmick match, he is going to choose. As per the current updates, it should be a Last Man Standing match. The confirmation is likely to come on tonight’s show.

The New Day will be present on the Miz TV, this week. They will declare one name from their group who will compete at the MITB ladder match.

Going by the past experiences, it is quite certain the former Intercontinental Champion will try to create bad blood among those three. It might plant the seeds for a future breakup for the most popular faction in the WWE.
