It was Smackdown Live who seemed more aggressive for the entire buildup of Survivor Series PPV. But, Raw came back, late to steal the thunder from Shane McMahon and Co. Team Blue was dismantled at the hands of the flagship show and the big names featured in the matchup. A massive fallout is expected on tonight’s show from the PPV event.
There’s no doubt that Shane will be unhappy about the way the blue team surrendered to Team Raw. So, he is supposed to address the entire roster on the show. Meanwhile, it will be the fourth straight night for WWE in the same city. The Smackdown roster is still present in Houston, and hence the show will be conducted at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
As we have seen in the past few week’s episode of Smackdown Live, tensions are running high between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon. The two authority figures were not at all on the same page heading towards the dual brand event. Just considering the brand rivalry, it was put on hold. With the PPV being over, it is going to explode.
Bryan has already spoken up saying he needed to have a conversation with the commissioner about the offensive actions towards WWE Raw. Since this has done no good for team blue, it is time for the GM to demand some answers from the commissioner, as they will continue to fall apart.
Another concern heading into tonight’s show is the recent ongoing with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. In the Survivor Series PPV, they did not hesitate to show their frustrations on the commissioner and went straight to put their hands on Shane. We will see the aftermath of this incident. Plus, an interesting fallout was noted on the PPV fallout show where we received some hints that the duo might be expecting a brand shift. We expect to learn more on that on Smackdown.
The WWE Championship storyline will continue around AJ Styles and Jinder Mahal. They had a confrontation with each other at the kick-off show to indicate the feud is far from over. The Maharaja will get his rematch as per updates from Survivor Series.
The entire women’s roster was seen falling apart after the devastating loss suffered at the hands of Team Raw. They had a massive quarrel at the Survivor Series fallout show. The blaming will continue towards each other going into the Clash of Champions PPV. Plus, we will get to know when Natalya will receive the title rematch against Charlotte Flair. A scary debut of The Bludgeon Brothers is also set to happen.
