WWE: What Transpired Once Clash Of Champions Went Off The Air: December 17, 2017 1

The Clash of Champions PPV concluded in a way leaving massive fallouts for the Smackdown brand. We wait for what is next in the Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon saga, going forward. They are not on the same page, for now. So, it will be interesting to see whether one of them will be turning into a villain, going forward.

The show ended with AJ Styles celebrating with the WWE Championship after retaining it against Jinder Mahal. Once Clash of Champions went off the air, he appeared on the Talking Smack Show that returned on WWE programming after quite a long time with Renee Young and Sam Roberts being the host.

The reigning WWE Champion noted that Jinder Mahal’s chapter is over from his book. He will be looking forward to getting new challenges on the blue brand from now onwards. However, he gave credit to Mahal for putting up a great effort in the match, (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)

“Styles gives credit to Mahal for not really using the Singh Brothers. Styles points out the not-so-smart logic of using the 450, but said he went for it to put Jinder away.”

The Smackdown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair also appeared on Talking Smack sporting a bruise on her face from the physical matchup against Natalya. To her, it was not only another match for the championship but to prove everyone in the entire WWE that she is the best of this generation. She is looking forward to main event PPV events just like the male champion, AJ Styles.

The Queen also noted on the controversial comments made by Natalya following their match. The heel superstar mentioned the Flair family name in a disrespectful manner which was not taken well by the champion.

The new United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler also cut a promo on why he would have a strong run with the title on his waist, whereas, the Usos seemed quite confident to lock all the tag teams present in the division, once again.
