WWE: What Transpired Once Smackdown Live Went Off The Air: October 3, 2017 1

This week’s Smackdown was kicked off with another tribute to the Las Vegas terror victims. It was for the second straight day that we had seen Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon standing side by side to lead the roster while remaining silence in honour of those who lost their precious lives during the mass shooting incident.

On Monday, it was the Raw roster who paid tribute, whereas, last night, it was the Smackdown roster who did the same.

The show went off the air with Kevin Owens picking up a huge momentum heading into the Hell in a Cell matchup. It was supposed that Shane McMahon is anxious to get his hands on the heel one and get the revenge for his father’s assault. But, the cunning Owens capitalised playing pure mind games on the commissioner.

Another one who got the upper-hand on Smackdown Live was the Smackdown Women’s Champion, Natalya who picked up a dominant win over her challenger on this upcoming Sunday. They had a tag team match where Nattie locked in the sharpshooter on Charlotte to make her tap out.

Needless to say, this was a rare occasion where The Queen of the WWE was forced to tap out which portrayed her as a weaker one. Following the main show of Smackdown Live, the duo of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair gave an interview on the fallout show.

As per their claim, this loss will not have any effect on the upcoming PPV championship match. The Queen is on her way to reclaiming the lost throne as the champion and will certainly to do her so. However, the problem being a lost momentum, and the champion being so dominant, she might not be able to do so.

In the other segment, Tye Dillinger spoke on the Smackdown fallout segment stating that he picked up the win on United States championship challenger, Baron Corbin. So, technically, he should be inserted into the championship match at Hell in a Cell. We have to wait till Sunday to see whether the match gets converted into a triple threat or not.

Plus, a huge tag team action was in store following the show where AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura & Randy Orton team up against Rusev, Baron Corbin, and Jinder Mahal. Orton connected with an RKO to pick up the win and send the crowd home, happily.
