Last night’s WWE Raw witnessed not one but two main event matches. The team of Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Bobby Lashley defeated the team of Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn.

Despite being the heels, the latter trio received a huge pop from their hometown crowd.

In the last segment, we witnessed a singles contest between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. It led the fans chant, ‘this is awesome’ creating a surreal moment. Seth Rollins was able to retain his title in this match by hitting a Curb Stomp on Balor.

Following this main event on WWE Raw, the crowd expected to see a dark segment. But, unfortunately for them, there was not any separate match in-store.

According to the reports of wrestlingINC.com, a tag team match was advertised on the card which was later wiped out. Check out the report from the source,

“Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe, Sheamus and Cesaro had been advertised as the dark main event for Monday’s RAW in Montreal, but that did not happen. The post-show segment saw Rollins take the mic following his main event title defence over Finn Balor.”

Following the match on WWE Raw, the Bell Center chanted for Seth Rollins after giving them an incredible match.

The IC Champion talked about how it is tough to perform on such a rigorous schedule. Over the past 15 days, he has been in South Africa, St. Louis, Saudi Arabia and now in Montreal. But, this is what a real superstar does, and there’s no other place that he wants to be than right there, in the middle of the ring.

In the WWE Raw fallout show, Mike Kanellis received good news. He was able to stand in the greatest Royal Rumble match for barely a couple of seconds which is why he thought he might have made a new record.

But, the interviewer, Mike Rome informed him that he did not create a record, as the Santino Marella still holds for being in Rumble match for only 1.9 seconds.
