WWE: What Transpired Once WWE Smackdown Went Off The Air: April 24, 2018 1

Last night’s Smackdown Live witnessed a huge main event tag team match comprising six superstars.

AJ Styles reunited with his former Club members on the show to take on against Nakamura, Rusev and Aiden English. The heels, once again capitalised, as the Artist delivered yet another low blow to the WWE Champion to take him out of the equation, for good. It allowed Nakamura to get the pinfall win.

A lot was stored following the taping was over on Smackdown Live, last night, the crowd in attendance witnessed a huge championship match, as per reports from wrestlingINC.com. The high-flying superstar, Jeff Hardy was seen in action defending his title on the dark main event match.

Apart from this contest, there was another big tag team match on the dark show. The Bar was seen competing against The New Day in the contest.

The latter team picked up the win, as Kofi Kingston pinned Cesaro to score the victory. It is to be noted that the Bar, i.e. the team of Sheamus and Cesaro is yet to make their in-ring debut on Smackdown after the Superstar Shakeup.

On the Smackdown Live fallout show, we spotted Carmella signing the Backlash championship match contract. Her opponent Charlotte Flair did sign the same, but she was blindsided by an attack which is why she was yet to pen the contract.

Renee young reminded her of the same after which the champion did sign it.

Meanwhile, Becky Lynch had a segment at the backstage area against the newly arrived, Mandy Rose and Sony Deville, on the show. After coming short against her match against the IIconics on Smackdown, the members of the Absolution taunted her about the same.

This was a certain tease that a feud is coming up among them, soon.

The IIconics, on the other hand, also featured in an interview gloating about their victory on Smackdown Live. They claimed to be even better than the Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka.
