WWE Smackdown Live hosted a fun tag team match on last night’s edition. The New Day competed against three prime heels of the blue brand.

Rusev, The Miz, and Samoa Joe were their competitors. It ended in a wrong way for the Miz. His partners left him alone in the ring against the three unicorns. These helped New Day to hit the Midnight Hour for the win.

There was a lot in store once Smackdown went off the air. The fans were not happy after Daniel Bryan did not appear on the main show. But he did appear to entertain the crowd once the taping was over. He competed in the dark main event match of the evening.

It was another tag team match for the fans present at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Daniel Bryan and United States Champion Jeff Hardy teamed up. Big Cass and The Miz were their opponents in the match. The A-lister competed in back-to-back matches on the show.

Hardy, on the other hand, continued to miss Smackdown tapings for last few weeks. The babyfaces picked up the win to send the crowd home on a happy note.

Daniel Bryan also gave it back to Big Cass. His current rival blasted him with some nasty comments on Smackdown Live during an interview.

The former GM promised to break his legs one more time at the Money in the Bank PPV event. These were his quotes from a video posted on WWE Youtube channel, (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)

“Do you know what’s going to happen at Money In the Bank? I am going to make you tap out one more time. Whether it’s the Yes Lock, whether it’s the Heel Hook, whether I just knee you in the face and stomp you in the face until you give up, that’s what’s going to happen at Money In the Bank. And you can’t teach surviving that.”

Becky Lynch appeared on the Smackdown Live fallout show. She was quite happy for picking up the win against Charlotte Flair. There’s no one in the WWE that she is willing to share the ring with rather than The Queen.

This win brought her one step closer to win the MITB briefcase. She is not willing to let the opportunity go out of her hand.
