The 34th edition of Wrestlemania just got over at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The match card was the most stacked one in the history of the event. Multiple dream matches were stored on the show with Ronda Rousey making her grand in-ring debut. Also, Daniel Bryan made his return to competition, as well. Here are the results from the night,
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
After the initial brawls, Woken Matt Hardy was about to be thrown outside the ring when Bray Wyatt appeared. To the surprise of the crowd, he distracted Corbin and Mojo Rawley to get eliminated by Hardy who the won the fifth edition of the battle royal at Wrestlemania.
Cruiserweight Championship Match – Cedric Alexander vs Mustafa Ali
After a slobber-knocker contest, Ali failed to win even after hitting the 054 splash. Cedric hit with three back elbows following with a Lumbercheck for the win to become the new Cruiserweight Champion.
WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal
It came down to Sasha Banks and Bayley at the very last. Bayley toppled Banks over to win the royal but forgot that Naomi was still not eliminated. So, she came from the back and eliminated Bayley to win the inaugural women’s battle royal at Wrestlemania.
SmackDown triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match – The Usos vs The New Day vs The Bludgeon Brothers
The match turned out to be a physical one with Bludgeon prevailing all the way. The Usos tried their best by delivering their UCE move following up with the pendant splash off the top rope but failed to pin the Bludgeons. The New Day tried too but fell victim to the double chokeslam from the Bludgeons who became the new Smackdown tag team champions at Wrestlemania.
Raw Women’s Championship Match – Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax
As Alexa Bliss was entering the ramp with Mickie James, Nia Jax came right after the latter one to take her out of the equation. A Samoan Drop was delivered to her on the floor.
Thereafter, Bliss was punished until she came up with some dirty tricks of her own by raking the eye. But, Nia turned out to be indomitable who delivered a Samoa Drop off the second rope to pin Bliss and became the new Raw women’s champion at Wrestlemania.
Fatal-4-way United States Championship Match – Randy Orton vs Bobby Roode vs Jinder Mahal vs Rusev
Rusev Day chants were all over the place for this particular match. He was on the verge of winning the match even after digesting an RKO from Orton. Two Machka kicks were delivered on Roode and Mahal. While setting up for the Accolade on Mahal, Sunil Singh distracted him from the apron to digest a Khallas from Mahal. Jinder Mahal won the United States Championship for the first-time by this at Wrestlemania.
Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship Match – The Miz vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
It was a spectacular match with series of moves flying everywhere from all three of them. The Miz connected with a super skull-crushing finale off the top rope to almost winning the match which was broken by a Coup De Grace from Finn Balor.
Rollins came back right into the contest with a Curb Stomp on the Miz over Balor to pick up the win at Wrestlemania. He is now a member of the Grand Slam Club in the WWE.
SmackDown Women’s Championship – Charlotte vs Asuka
After making a grand entrance, Charlotte Flair was able to do the unthinkable at Wrestlemania by ending the streak. She delivered a huge splash off the top rope before getting locked into the arm-bar by Asuka. The champ was able to get off the hold somehow and connect with the spear.
Following this, she locked in the Figure Eight on Asuka who screamed in pain and finally tapped out. After the match, both of them hugged it out making an emotional moment.
Raw Tag Team Championships Match – The Bar vs Braun Strowman and Mystery Partner
There were big expectations during this match which was not fulfilled. No surprise name was in-store for Braun Strowman during this match at Wrestlemania.
Rather, Braun picked a little girl named Nicholas to be his partner from the crowd and went solo in this match. He delivered a running powerslam on Cesaro to pick up an easy victory and win the WWE Raw tag team titles.

Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
The Wrestlemania crowd gave a thunderous reaction to Daniel Bryan who made his in-ring return. But it was supposed to be shortlived, as Kevin Owens delivered a pop-up powerbomb on the apron. The medical facility arrived to take out Bryan in a stretcher.
But, it was hard to keep this man out of the contest, as he came right back into it after Shane McMahon was beaten down all over. Sami Zayn mistook by slapping him on the face and went right into the running knee.
The YES lock was applied, and Zayn was forced to tap out. Bryan celebrated with Brie Bella to end this segment at Wrestlemania.
Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
After the initial lockdowns between Kurt Angle and Triple H, the match came down to Ronda and Stephanie. Ronda delivered a beatdown on the WWE Raw commissioner before she tagged right back to her husband who hit Angle with a pedigree. The match was saved by Ronda, as the tag was broken.
Both, Triple H and Stephanie went for a double pedigree move which was countered by their opponents. Ronda quickly locked in the armbar on Stephanie who had no choice but to tap out at Wrestlemania.
John Cena vs The Undertaker (Rumoured match)
John Cena was ready for a fight which only turned out to be Elias. He delivered a quick AA to finish off the contest, as the lights went out while leaving. The Undertaker appeared at Wrestlemania culminating the match that we have been waiting for.
It was a quick bout between the two, as Undertaker delivered all his pendant moves dominating Cena. The latter one went for a five knuckle shuffle when ‘Taker got up and delivered a chokeslam following with a Tombstone Piledriver for the win.
WWE Championship Match – Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles
A dream match was delivered in this capacity, as Styles and Nakamura tore the house down. The WWE Champion retained after delivering not one, but two Styles Clash on his opponent.
The second one came by converting it from a Kinshasa which was spectacular. Once the match was over, Nakamura went heel out of frustration and gave a low blow on Styles. He beat down the WWE Champion to end the segment.

WWE Universal Championship Match – Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns
It was an extremely physical matchup with suplexes flowing everywhere from Brock Lesnar.
He delivered a total number of eight such to Roman Reigns while the latter one countered with multiple spears and superman punches. But, in the end, a vicious F-5 through the announce table did the trick for the reigning champion.
However, he had to deliver five such F5s before this to finally end the match and close Wrestlemania on a surprising note.
