Per the earlier reports, The KO Show featuring Kevin Owens and WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin was reportedly scheduled to be the main event segment for Night One of WrestleMania 38. Rumors around this segment are circling in full force around the internet as this one could possibly be the headliner.
However, things are also said to be up in the air as there was a feeling that WWE would position the Ronda Rousey vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair title match as the main attraction of Wrestlemania 38 Night One. Owens and the announcers mentioned The KO Show being the main event of WrestleMania Saturday during the go-home RAW episode for the Show of Shows.

Then it was also touted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Austin and Owens will close WrestleMania 38 Saturday Night. The other option for the main event slot was Rousey vs. Flair. The logic is that Rousey had won the Royal Rumble and earned the right to headline WrestleMania. There was also a point, that WWE advertised Rousey vs. Flair as the Night One main event, but things changed in due course.
Two options available for Wrestlemania 38 Night One main event
Then Ronda Rousey herself claimed that her WWE SmackDown Women’s Title match with Charlotte Flair will become the main-event of WrestleMania 38. Speaking on The Ellen Show, the Rumble match winner noted this weekend will be her second main event at the Biggest Event of the Year,
“I’m gonna be in the main event for the second time,” Rousey said. “I was the, part of the first main event with women and this is now the third. So, it’s becoming almost something that doesn’t need to be mentioned anymore, which is the goal.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

Regardless of where Rousey’s match gets placed, the UFC Hall of Famer has been a matter of discussion since her return to pro wrestling at Royal Rumble 2022. Shortly after giving birth, she felt motivated by her mother to get back in the squared circle and prove a point. Hence, she has regularly been making appearances leading up to Wrestlemania 38.
As for Austin, he is reportedly in great shape for WrestleMania 38, and the talk show segment with Owens is believed to turn into a brawl or even a match. A Stone Cold Stunner and celebration also sounds like a good way to send everyone home from the AT&T Stadium as the speculations continue.
