A poisonous rivalry is set to culminate at Wrestlemania 39 as Edge and Finn Bálor will square off inside Hell in a Cell. Almost a year ago, Edge founded The Judgment Day with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, but it was Finn, who stole the faction away from Edge by banishing him from his own group and thereby starting this lengthy feud.
Letting these two participate inside the devastating steel cage structure is only fitting to bring a proper end to this bitter feud. The stakes for this match have been raised as Edge called out “The Demon” version of Finn to face him at Wrestlemania 39. The WWE Hall of Famer, himself is seemingly being transitioned into a darker version to change the complexion.

WWE is having some discussions of The “Brood” Edge vs. “The Demon King” Finn Balor at WrestleMania 39. To make things even more interesting, PWInsider reports that Brood’s original member Gangrel is scheduled to return at some capacity for this match,
“Gangrel will be a part of Edge’s entrance and have a spot with Damian Priest during the Hell in a Cell match with Finn Balor at WrestleMania.”
If Gangrel does appear at Wrestlemania 39 then this will be his first appearance in WWE in 16 years. The old-school veteran last appeared on WWE programming during the 15th-anniversary episode of Raw in 2007, where he participated in a Battle Royal.

It’s also been noted that Edge vs. Finn Balor inside Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania 39 will end this ongoing feud between the Rated-R Superstar and Judgment Day faction, also consisting of Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley. From time to time, Edge had physical altercations with each one of them in singles as well as in a team-up capacity.
Edge, being a bonafide Hall of Famer in WWE, is a favorite heading into this match at Wrestlemania 39. Previously, he picked up a victory against Seth “Freakin’” Rollins at Crown Jewel 2021 inside this steel cage structure.
