While we talk about the Women’s Revolution in the pro-wrestling business, there’s no doubt that the female superstars from the WWE are the front-runners. But, we should not forget that there are names who do not get the much-needed attention they deserve for their performance at the indie scenes or the other wrestling promotions apart from the WWE.
Gail Kim is one such name who started her career in the biggest pro-wrestling company in the world on a low note. But, once she managed to get rid of it, she was able to become one of the biggest names in the women’s pro-wrestling in the history.
She started performing the independent promotion from 2000 onwards until grabbing a WWE contract in 2002. Then she headed to TNA in 2005 before coming back to her roots again. Apart from giving the WWE Women’s Championship to her for one single occasion, WWE creative could not do justice to her talent that forced her to quit again in 2010 after which she became a bonafide performer in the TNA Impact Wrestling Promotion.

Even when WWE was in the Divas era, she used to have matches under tables, ladders and extreme stipulations against formidable opponents. It made her the six-time TNA Knockout Champion and the first woman to get inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame, last year. Just because she loves the sports so much, she came back for one more stint following the induction ceremony.
As of now, Gail Kim will be participating in her last match in the promotion at the upcoming PPV conducted by the Impact Wrestling aka GFW promotion. It will be the Bound For Glory PPV on November 5th where she will compete for one final time for the title. The fatal-4-way match will witness Gail Kim, Sienna, Taryn Terrell and Allie for the title.
The Aberdeen Pavilion will host the PPV event in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In a recent interview, she clarified that she is willing to hang up her boots in the best shape of her life, i.e., on a high note. The best place to do that for one last time is in her home country of Canada.
