The name of CJ Perry may not sound familiar to the WWE Universe as she used to wrestle in the company under the ring name Lana. Despite having the least amount of experience in professional wrestling, she used to be under the spotlight for her ability to entertain the fans.
Primarily debuting as a manager, Lana was paired with her real-life husband Miro, formerly known as Rusev. After enjoying a successful stint in NXT, they arrived and literally won the main roster. Afterward, they were featured on WWE TV in different storylines before becoming victims of budget cuts. They were eventually released from their contracts, one year apart.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Lana talked about a recent segment on AEW Dynamite featuring Rusev, now known as Miro and Julia Hart. She stated that she would love to work with Miro in AEW and defend her husband from Hart if given a chance. Here’s what she stated being furious about the AEW TV storyline angle,
“Hopefully, I get a chance to do that. She does all these cute pictures on Instagram and her vibe is very House of Black, then she shows up in a blazer. I will literally dropkick her in the face. I really can’t go into much of anything. I’d love to do something with Miro in AEW. We’ll see what happens.”

Lana is ecstatic about coming back to professional wrestling
Lana eventually jumping ship to the AEW seems to be a no-brainer as her husband is working there for the past couple of years. To date, no such interest has been shown from Tony Khan about the former Ravishing Russian.
That being said, Lana still remains very much fond of what Vince McMahon had offered to her, over the years and made her an entertaining on-screen character. Speaking about McMahon’s retirement, she said that the former WWE CEO taught her many valuable lessons.
Since her unfortunate release, she is going by the name of CJ Perry who keeps herself busy with a variety of projects. But that doesn’t contain her love for professional wrestling. She seemed eager to be back inside the squared circle but the perfect opportunity is yet to arrive.
