After a one-off win and an appearance on the grandest stage of Wrestlemania 39, Ronda Rousey vanished from WWE TV. She alongside Shayna Baszler was projected to be a strong heel team on Smackdown who was also reportedly set to win the women’s tag team championships at the latest bygone PLE if not an injury prohibited those planning.
There’s still no update on when Ronda Rousey would be back on WWE TV. Away from the scene, she’s gearing up to conquer reality TV, yet again. According to PWInsider, she is one of the 12 participants who will compete in the unscripted show name, “Stars on Mars,” which is coming to FOX on June 5. The series will air on Monday, at 8 pm ET.

“Stars on Mars” won’t be Ronda Rousey’s first affiliation with the FOX network as she has appeared on WWE SmackDown on this platform. Prior to this, she starred in several episodes of the emergency drama 9-1-1. Besides, the former longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion had also tasted success in reality TV as she was in the lead of the star cast of the Total Divas show’s Season 9.

Concept of Stars on Mars show featuring Ronda Rousey
The types of tasks Ronda Rousey and the other participants will be doing on “Stars on Mars” are unknown at the time of this writing. However, a synopsis released around the show detailed the following process,
“Celebrities will ditch their jerseys, business suits, and red carpet gowns for the ultimate attire – an astronaut suit. Once on “Mars,” this group of stars will receive interstellar assignments from legendary actor and Star Trek icon William Shatner, who serves as Mission Control. Colonizing Mars could be our future… let’s send them first!”
On the road to Wrestlemania 39, Ronda Rousey reaggravated one of her past elbow injuries which forced the WWE to introduce a Wrestlemania Showcase match featuring her and Shayna Baszler. WWE was hopeful about Rousey’s return to full-time action soon after the PLE. But since she’s yet to fully recover, there’s no timeline set for the WWE return.
