There’s pregnancy season going on in the WWE and Carmella is one of the superstars who’s out of the scene due to the same reason. It’s been quite some time since we have seen the 2017 Money in the Bank contract winner on TV as she’s out even before the pregnancy new confirmation. She also missed Wrestlemania, this year but the baby arrival news did make things up.
In an update, the good thing is that Carmella is hopeful about continuing her in-ring career after becoming a mother, later this year. Being a popular superstar of the WWE, fans were concerned about whether she would be able to make a comeback in competition after conceiving and the answer is positive.

Carmella wants to become a successful working mother
While speaking to Distractify, Carmella opened up about her journey in pregnancy. It was tough for her from going super busy on the road to doing nothing at home due to pregnancy. When she is done delivering the baby, it seems The Princess of Staten Island is adamant about showing everyone how to become a successful working woman,
“I definitely want to go back (…) I’m someone who likes to be, you know, active and keep busy. So it’s definitely hard, I think, to go from working so much all the time and being on the road all the time to the exact opposite. I definitely want to go back; I think it’s important to show that you can be a mom and still have a career and especially a very physical one.”
Despite not being a gifted athlete in the squared circle, Carmella managed to carve out a spot for herself in the WWE women’s division starting in 2016. Her natural heel antics were the main reason that WWE opted for her to become the inaugural Money in the Bank briefcase winner. In fact, she is the only woman in WWE history to have won the MITB contract, twice before also holding it for the longest timespan.
After experiencing success in her singles career, Carmella was paired up with different women in WWE in the tag team division. Eventually, she ended up becoming the tag champ with Zelina Vega in 2021. Before going into the pregnancy hiatus, she formed a team with Chelsea Green that was soon dissolved.
