Zelina Vega has been all over the internet during her recent absence from WWE TV. Despite all the rumors, she is yet to make her comeback on TV. But it will happen in the near future and with Triple H in charge of WWE content, she could expect to receive something big around her wrestling career, after all.

Taking to her social media, Zelina Vega has revealed that she’s working really hard in the gym and thus achieved an absolutely ripped physique. Below are some recent photos of her that certainly indicate that she’s getting her ring ready for the speculated return.

Queen Zelina Vega was originally kept off WWE programming for months due to an injury. But PWInsider has recently reported her comeback is slated to happen and she is going to get a push because WWE Officials have noticed her willingness to do whatever she has been asked to do. Hence, they want to reward her for that. Thus, her singles run could be stretched.

Last year, a special Friday Night episode was dedicated on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. Zelina Vega is someone who was directly attached to the incident as she lost her father and hence she was used in video packages.

That WWE Super SmackDown took place on September 10 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. A tag match featuring Zelina Vega and Carmella vs. Liv Morgan (and reportedly) Toni Storm was scheduled to feature on that night. Vega also had a custom ring gear made for that night to wear but ultimately that match got canceled due to time constraints.

Zelina Vega is a valued superstar for the WWE

Zelina Vega recently spoke with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT to confirm that Vince McMahon personally called her to apologize for trimming down that match from the main card. The incident certainly shows that WWE values the superstar for her efforts to excel in her roles.

“A lot of people were really upset, but I felt like a lot of the anger was misguided,” Zelina Vega explained. “I was disappointed, but I also knew it wasn’t a personal thing. If you knew — and obviously a lot of the fans don’t know that the show goes in order — the way that it went timewise, it got too close and they had to cut it.”

“When it got cut, Vince McMahon called me and apologized because he wanted to make sure that I knew, ‘Listen, this wasn’t done to you personally or anything, it was literally just [the time], I had to make that call and I’m so sorry.’ And people don’t know that side either.”
