On last Friday (27th March), the former Indian World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Rawat has slammed all media houses for spreading false news.
At present, the entire world is battling against the novel COVID-19 or coronavirus. While the coronavirus cases are increasing on a daily basis, the death reports are also rising. In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, some countries are hugely struggling to control the situation. India is also fighting against this virus.
Like many other coronavirus affected countries, India is also going into the complete lockdown process to beat the coronavirus. While many people have been affected in this present situation, many national celebrities have come out with much-needed donations.
Recently, some Indian media have reported that MS Dhoni donated INR 1 lakh to support 100 families for 14 days in Pune.
The reports also added that Dhoni donated the amount to Pune-based Mukul Madhav Foundation via Ketto, a crowdfunding website.

These reports didn’t take much time to go viral through social media. However, many were criticising the former Indian World Cup-winning captain for donating a low amount as Dhoni is known as one of the richest Indians.
Sakshi Singh called all the media houses: Shame on You!
Later, Sakshi Singh hit out all media houses for reporting false news. Though she hasn’t clarified the false news, many believe that she has come with this reaction due to the Dhoni’s latest donation news.

Sakshi posted on her official Twitter account, “I request all media houses to stop carrying out false news at sensitive times like these! Shame on You! I wonder where responsible journalism has disappeared !”

MS Dhoni hasn’t played a cricket match yet since the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 last July. There is still no clarification about the future of his international career.

However, Dhoni recently returned to the practice for the IPL 2020 where he will lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK). But due to the coronavirus outbreak, while the IPL 2020 has been postponed, the practice session has also been called off.
