WWE has been fortunate enough to continue its show tapings since the coronavirus pandemic began in March. Going by ‘the show must go on’ strategy of Vince McMahon, they have been broadcasting televised episodes of RAW and SmackDown from the closed-set Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. To date, no single show including the pay-per-view events have been canceled in 2020 for the company.
In recent times though the coronavirus situation deteriorated as a number of WWE employees have reportedly been tested positive. They had to make some changes in creative scheduling as well as the TV taping. Everyone must be tested for the coronavirus prior to making entry to the tapings that is really a time-consuming matter.

This is the reason why the earlier set July TV schedule had to be scrapped and a new one was structured that will lead the WWE through SummerSlam 2020. POST Wrestling reports that the WWE crew will be back at the Performance Center on July 17th. Their next set of tapings will begin by filming SmackDown prior to Extreme Rules on July 19th.

The currently given card is subject to change like it has previously as the coronavirus outbreak continues around the world. It’s yet to be seen if they experience more troubles along the way that could hold up these plans.
WWE has reportedly mapped out their plans through SummerSlam which is definitely not taking place in the original host city of Boston as the government won’t allow mass gathering. Chances are higher that the company has to reschedule the show from the WWE PC just like the recently bygone PPV events.
