Andy Bichel (Australia) – 7/20 vs England (at Port Elizabeth on 2nd March 2003)

It was the 37th match in the 2003 ODI World Cup (Group Stage). After the English openers provided a good start in the first innings, the Australian right-arm pacer Andy Bichel played an important role to destroy their opposition batting line up.
Coming to bowl as a first-change bowler, Bichel finished the first innings with the bowling figures of 10-0-20-7. His bowling helped his team to restrict England to 204/8 (50 overs).
In the second innings, Australia was once struggling on 135/8. However, Michael Bevan and Andy Bichel didn’t let the game go from their hands easily, rather than they fought and secured a stunning victory in a thrilling way. While Australia reached the target in 49.4 overs (208/8), Bevan was not out on 74 runs and Bichel was not out on 34 runs.
