ToggleIn a 95-run victory Team India’s senior campaigner has brought up his fine hundred against Bangladesh at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on Tuesday (May 28). The veteran batsman Dhoni, who brought his hundred off 73 balls, further flexed his muscles to help the Men in Blue to post the target of 360 for Bangladesh. Ahead of the 2019 World Cup, at least ten games were held at different venues in England and Wales between May 24 and 28 respectively.
However, while being on his way to triple-figure mark Dhoni has pointed out a fielder is not fielding at his designation position. Thus, he ended up helping the Tigers to set the field before Sabbir Rahman got ready to bowl again.
Dhoni has pulled off a sensation 113-run knock off just 78 balls which included eight fours and seven sixes after stitching crucial 164-run stand with another centurion KL Rahul. The prolific wicketkeeper-batsman Dhoni, who averages over 50 in ODI format has scored at the strike-rate of 144.87.
Interestingly, his century came after almost two year’s, which also signifies hope for India.

Setting up the ante, Dhoni has gone downtown to bring his fine hundred. Thus, he has ringed the warning bells for his opposition following the good show in the recently held Indian Premier League (IPL), too.

The 37-year-old Dhoni has himself lead India to the second World Cup win in 2011. He further played an establishing role for the national team in the middle overs irrespective of the conditions.
The incident unfolded when 39th over was in progress of Indian innings. Dhoni stopped Rahman in his follow-through. He suggested him to place fielder at the square leg region in spite of mid-wicket.
So much so, Sabbir paid heed to what Dhoni has advised to him. However, by the time, the entire incident goes viral on the internet. With ardent fans following the game closely, further took to micro-blogging site Twitter to have their say.
Besides, Twitter users couldn’t stop themselves from reacting over Dhoni’s heartwarming gesture.
Earlier, Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and asked India to bat first. Virat Kohli’s India posted 359 for seven in their 50 allotted overs.
In response, Bangladesh got all out on 264 in 49.3 overs with Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav sharing six wickets between them.

In yesterday's warm-up match, Dhoni stopped bowler Sabbir Rahman and advised him to move his fielder from wid-wicket to square leg in the 40th over. The bowler agreed.
That's the level of involvement he brings to his game.#Captain pic.twitter.com/V0Uup1fHLH— Abhishek Murarka ?? (@abhymurarka) May 29, 2019
