The left-arm spinner Mayank Dagar was one of the heroes for India U19 in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2016 where the team finished as the runners-up. He bagged 11 wickets in that tournament, the second most wicket-taker for India U19 in that tournament.
The Himachal Pradesh cricketer also spent in the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) camp in IPL 2018. In 2018, Dagar revealed his yo-yo test report through a social media post. According to that post, his yo-yo test report was 19.3.
