With the first of the three T20Is starting on November 21st, Maxwell praised the Indian cricketer for his impressive skills. In a conversation with Direct Hit ( Australian website), Maxi had a good take on Rohit’s capability.  Meanwhile, the India opener is the only batter with four tons in T20I cricket, and he has also bagged three double centuries in the ODIs.

Glenn Maxwell heaps praise on Rohit Sharma

Maxwell echoed the voice of millions, as he felt that Rohit bast effortlessly and it seems like the batter has fetched ample time to read the deliveries.

“His (Rohit) effortless hitting and he seems to have a lot more time than other players. He makes it look so easy, and I suppose that’s the joy of watching him. The game always looks easy when he is out there batting. He’s good against pace and spin and hits the ball a mile when he wants to,” Maxwell said.

The explosive Aussie went on to say Rohit is a star player and to achieve certain feats which he did is just extraordinary.

“He’s an absolute star in limited-overs cricket. To get multiple double hundreds is not a mean feat in One-Day cricket. This guy, you can’t stop him. He’s quite relaxed, chilled and laid back and he doesn’t let things phase him, that’s for sure,” the 30-year-old added.
