Peter Siddle (Australia)

Former Australian right-arm pacer Peter Siddle, who is still active in domestic cricket, had an effective Test career but earlier, it was hugely affected due to his fitness issues.
Siddle made his international debut in 2008. Though he impressed with his bowling skills from the very beginning of his international career, several injuries made his cricket career tougher. During his career, Siddle majorly faced the back stress fracture, which forced him to miss many matches. Moreover, some other issues (like using alcohol) made his cricket career more difficult.
However, he never gave up easily, rather than he became more discipline and made a stronger comeback in the game as well as in Test cricket.
While Siddle only managed to play 20 ODIs and two T20Is where he managed to pick up 17 and three wickets respectively, he also picked up 221 wickets in 67 Tests. During his Test career, Siddle claimed a hat-trick and that too on his 26th birthday. In 2019 December, Siddle announced his retirement from international cricket.
