The former right-arm fast bowler Shaun Tait was very famous for his furious fast bowling ability. The right-arm fast bowler was very much effective in the limited-overs international cricket, but several injuries became the giant barriers of his growth in international cricket.

While the furious Tait majorly struggled to maintain the positive line and length bowling, the injuries made his cricket career more difficult. Later, in January 2008, he also took a break from the game due to suffering from mental and physical exhaustion. Though he made comeback in the game in that same year, at the end of 2008, he quit the first-class cricket citing fitness issues, which forced him to put only focus on the limited-overs formats.

From 2005 to 2016, Tait played three Tests, 35 ODIs and 21 T20Is where the right-arm fast bowler took five, 62 and 28 wickets respectively. He was also a crucial member during Australia’s successful journey in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, where he finished as the joint second most wicket-taker (23 wickets).
