Former New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond was famous in the cricket world for his furious bowling. During his time, he was one of the fastest and best pacers. The right-arm fast bowler is also known as one of the best fast-bowlers in New Zealand cricket history, whose international cricket career ran from 2001 to 2010 in many breaks.

Bond’s cricket career was majorly affected due to his multiple injury problems. The most noted point is the spine injury which resulted to add a titanium rod into his back. Moreover, the two-year tenure in the now-defunct Indian Cricket League (ICL) also forced his international cricket career not to grow up highly.

While Bond played 18 Tests, 82 ODIs and 20 T20Is, the right-arm fast bowler pocketed 87, 147 and 25 wickets respectively.
