Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has resigned from the director role of Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA). According to the source report, Gambhir isn’t happy from this role as he hasn’t got enough freedom.

Gautam Gambhir is unhappy with the rejections on his requests
It was very much expected that Gambhir wouldn’t neglect the issues surrounding Delhi cricket. As a DDCA director, Gambhir brought out some issues and requested to make these better which could help the Delhi players.

However, a close source to Gambhir has recently told that DDCA higher members have rejected Gambhir’s appeals. Gambhir has felt very unhappy on these rejections as he felt that there was a lack of freedom on his role. The former Indian opener believes that a former player knows well which necessary things need to change.
Moreover, he is also busy as a BJP MP who won the Lok Sabha 2019 election from East Delhi. So, Gambhir has decided to resign from the DDCA director post as he is not much effective in this role.
