Former Indian stylish cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who has recently announced his international retirement, has revealed his prediction for the ongoing Cricket World Cup.
The 2019 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is currently running in England and Wales. A total of top ten teams are participating to win this prestigious trophy. As every team has already played at least three matches in this tournament, the present predictions are going to be more authentic.

During his international career, Yuvraj experienced three Cricket World Cups (2003, 2007 and 2011). While India won the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup trophy under MS Dhoni’s captaincy, Yuvraj won the Player of the Tournament award for his extraordinary all-round performances. In that tournament, the left-handed batsman scored 362 runs in nine matches with an average of 90.50. Also, as a left-arm spinner, Yuvraj Singh took 15 wickets with an average of 25.13.
I think we have a great chance – Yuvraj Singh
Now, the 37-year-old has predicted the top two teams of the ongoing Cricket World Cup. Talking about his most favourite sides in this tournament, Yuvraj has picked up India and England, the top two in-form ODI teams at present. He also has strong faith in the defending champions Australia.

Talking about the fourth best team in this tournament, Yuvraj has tossed up between Windies and New Zealand.
Recently, Pakistan beat the strong host side England by 14 runs. Yuvraj feels that Pakistan also has a good chance in this tournament.
Yuvraj has recently opened up these views on the official video of Cricket World Cup.
He said in that video, “I think we have a great chance. I definitely think either it’s going to be India or England. Australia definitely is right up there. West Indies is a possible coming as the fourth team – West Indies or New Zealand. If you see on paper and how the World Cup is shaping up, I would say India or England. Pakistan also beat England, so it’s getting very interesting.”

Initial forms of the participating teams in the running Cricket World Cup
After the first 19 matches of the ongoing Cricket World Cup, only New Zealand and India haven’t faced any defeat in this tournament. New Zealand has played four matches in this tournament where they have won thrice, and their other one match against India was abandoned due to the rain washout. Meanwhile, India has played three matches where they have won twice before their rain-washout match against New Zealand.
Meanwhile, the host side England has also shown their dominance in this tournament. Apart from suffering a defeat against Pakistan, England has managed to maintain its good performances in this tournament. After their first four matches of this tournament, England has won three matches and lost only once.

Australia has also shined in this tournament. In their first four matches of this tournament, they have only suffered a defeat against India.

On the other hand, Windies and Pakistan have won only one match out of their first four matches of this tournament. Apart from their lone victories, both have suffered two defeats and also have experienced one no-result.
