3. Namibia – 45 (14 overs) vs Australia at Potchefstroom on 27th February 2003

During the Pool A match between Australia and Namibia in the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup, Namibia batsmen had no clue against the mighty Australian bowling line-up. After Australia managed to score 301/6 (50 overs) in the first innings, Glenn McGrath‘s superb bowling performance secured a large victory for Australia.
Glenn McGrath‘s record bowling figures of 7-4-15-7 helped Australia to bowl out Namibia for just 45 runs (14 overs). These bowling figures are still the best bowling figures in Cricket World Cup history. While the extras were the highest run-scorer in that innings (15 runs), captain Deon Kotze (10 runs) was the only Namibian batsman to play the double-digit innings. Australia won that match by 256 runs which were an ODI record at that time.
Among the other Australian bowlers, Andy Bichel (2/0) scalped two wickets, and Brett Lee (1/26) took one wicket in that innings.
