Mohammad Azharuddin and Ajay Jadeja – unbroken 275 runs (for 4th wicket vs Zimbabwe at Cuttack on 9th April 1998)

When the Indian middle-order batsmen, skipper Mohammad Azharuddin and Ajay Jadeja built up this giant fourth-wicket partnership, it was the highest ODI partnership for any wicket at that time.
After Zimbabwe captain Alistair Campbell sent the Indian team to bat first, the hosts lost their first three wickets for just 26 runs. However, Azharuddin and Jadeja then batted incredibly and guided the team to the 300+ total.
Azharuddin and Jadeja stretched that partnership for 275 runs as the Zimbabwean bowlers remained unsuccessful to break that partnership till the end of that innings.
Chasing down the 302 runs target (India 301/3), Zimbabwe were all out for 269 runs (48.4 overs) as India won that match by 32 runs.
