The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League came to a closure three days ago when Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by a solitary run in the final in Hyderabad to clinch their 4th IPL title. It was a sensational all-round performance by Mumbai Indians all through the tournament which saw them lift the title for the 4th time in their IPL history. Rohit Sharma has been the skipper of the franchise on all these 4 occasions. They have now won the tournament in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
However, the IPL is done and dusted and with the World Cup just around the corner, it might be curious for people to understand why we are talking about IPL still now. The reason is the super cool and crazy fans who yet again proved that why is cricket considered as the biggest religion in the country. For a long time, cricket has been the sport which has hogged the limelight in India.
Yet again the IPL 2019 final garnered a lot of fans and supporters. After the match, a marriage video has gone viral where people can be seen enjoying the final few overs of the match without paying any heed to the bride of the groom.
A 2-minute 15-second video shows that the guest avoiding the bride and the groom at their own wedding as the big finale was played on the giant screen.
