Mumbai Indians speedster Jasprit Bumrah thanked MI mentor Sachin Tendulkar for calling him the best bowler in the world at the moment. However, he believed that the best from Jasprit Bumrah is yet to come and he will be a sensational addition for India in the 2019 World Cup which is slated to start from 30th May in England and Wales.

Mentor of the Mumbai Indians, Sachin Tendulkar was overjoyed with Bumrah’s bowling from the sidelines. He bagged two good wickets and bowled immaculately and set the team up for a thrilling victory. He conceded 14 runs in his 4 overs spell and bagged the wickets of Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo.

“Let me go on record and say he is the best bowler in the world at this stage and his best is yet to come hopefully,” Sachin Tendulkar said of the Jasprit Bumrah. He will definitely be the bowler to watch out for India in the upcoming World Cup and could help India win their 3rd World Cup title. He is a sensational bowler to say the least and will look to continue his prowess in the 2019 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah took to his Twitter handle to thank Sachin Tendulkar. He wrote, “I am Speechless thank you Sachin sir.” It was a huge moment for Bumrah when he bagged two crucial wickets and kept MI in the game after they were almost knocked out of the match in the 10th over. Shane Watson looked in complete control of proceedings and looked set to take the match away from MI.

Lasith Malinga bowled a horrendous 16th over conceding 20 runs which totally tilted the scales in favour of CSK. After a good over from Bumrah, Watson smashed three consecutive sixes of Krunal Pandya to bring the calculation down to 18 of the final two overs. Bumrah and Lasith Malinga did a terrific job and eventually ensured that Mumbai Indians scraped past the hurdle and won by just a solitary run to lift their 4th IPL title.
