Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals, the two teams who have already confirmed the berth in the playoff stages will take on each other in the 50th match of the season.  Delhi Capitals had won their previous match against Royal Challengers Bangalore which had helped them earn the ticket of the playoff stages. On the other hand, MS Dhoni had missed the previous match for the defending champions. Chennai Super Kings were not up to the mark without their skipper and had gone down in the last match. Consequently, they would like to get back on the winning track.

The South African skipper was dropped in the previous match against Mumbai Indians. The right-hander who has scored 179 runs in seven matches should get back into the playing XI.

Suresh Raina

The left-hander has not been in the best of forms. Raina will like to bring his best to the table as he holds the key for the CSK. In fact, the southpaw batsman has thus far scored 247 runs in 12 matches.

Ambati Rayudu

The right-handed batsman is also not in good form. Rayudu has had a disappointing season as he has thus far scored 213 runs in the season.

Kedar Jadhav

Kedar Jadhav hasn’t got a lot of opportunities to bat in the middle. He has scored only 162 runs in 11 matches and hasn’t got a chance to bowl as well.

The CSK captain had missed the last match against Mumbai Indians. Dhoni is expected to be back in action. The talisman has been Chennai Super Kings’ best batsman thus far.
