IPL 2019: Sanjay Manjrekar Showers Praise on MS Dhoni But Criticises Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat in the Process

The class of MS Dhoni was on display yet again as the Chennai Super Kings skipper smashed a sensational 44 of just 22 deliveries against the Delhi Capitals to take their score to a commendable 179/4 in their allotted 20 overs. It was an exceptional display of batsmanship by the former India skipper who looked in complete control of proceedings.
After coming out to bat he literally toyed with the DC bowling attack and took them to the cleaners. In the final over bowled by Trent Boult, the left arm pacer was taken to the cleaners by MS Dhoni which included three gigantic sixes. It was not until the emergence of MS Dhoni that CSK ever thought of scoring 179 in their allotted 20 overs.
During the powerful onslaught by MS Dhoni, commentator Sanjay Manjrekar took a dig at Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat while showering praise on Dhoni. Taking to his twitter handle Manjrekar said that it was no Jaydev Unadkat or Umesh Yadav, MS Dhoni was smashing out of the ground but it was Trent Boult, a top class international bowler who was taken to the cleaners by βThe Thalaβ.
The tweet by Sanjay Manjrekar left a pretty bad taste in the mouth. βThis was no Unadkat or Yadav, this was Trent Boult in the final over that Dhoni took to the cleaners,β wrote Sanjay Manjrekar.

MS Dhoni has been the top run-scorer for Chennai Super Kings in Vivo IPL 12 and has been the pillar for them in the batting department. A back injury and consequent fever ruled MS Dhoni out of two matches of the tournament and in both the matches, Chennai Super Kings came out on the losing side.
Barring MS Dhoni CSK has been vulnerable on occasions which have resulted in them losing 4 matches. Chennai Super Kings have won 9 out of the 13 matches they have played so far. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be one of the most important players for India in the upcoming 2019 World Cup. However, there is no doubt about the fact that Sanjay Manjrekar shouldn’t have insulted Indian bowlers Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat.
