Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a fighting score of 162 runs after Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bowl first in the Eliminator contest at Visakhapatnam. Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a good start as Wriddhiman Saha and Martin Guptill added 31 runs in the first three overs.
Martin Guptill looked threatening as the Kiwi batsman was timing the balls with perfection. However, Saha also looked to follow his opening partner footsteps but could not get the timing right against Ishant Sharma. Delhi Capitals skipper took a simple catch at mid-off to give the first blow to Hyderabad.

Delhi Capitals came up with a fine bowling performance.
Guptill was looking to take the game away from the Delhi Capitals as he scored four sixes and one four in his cameo of 19-ball 36. However, the right-hander’s knock was put paid by experienced Amit Mishra when Guptill found Keemo Paul at the deep square leg boundary. Mishra brought his experience to the table as he conceded only 16 runs in his four overs quota.
On the other hand, the in-form batsman Manish Pandey struggled to hit the ground running. The right-hander crawled his 36-ball 30. Pandey could not time the full-pitched delivery and Sherfane Rutherford took a simple catch to give his Windies teammate Keemo Paul his first breakthrough of the innings.

Kane Williamson also could not find a healthy strike rate as he scored 28 runs from 27 balls. SRH skipper’s innings was ended by a deadly yorker from Ishant Sharma, who got his second scalp of the evening. The lanky fast bowler conceded 34 runs in his allotted four overs.
However, Vijay Shankar and Mohammed Nabi were able to add the finishing touches to the Sunrisers Hyderabad innings. Shankar scored a cameo of 11-ball 25

Velocity collapsed from 111-2 to 111-7 and SRH lost Williamson's wicket at 111. Nelson has been in unbelievable form today.

When you have batsmen ready to go after the bowling from ball no 1, you become such a dangerous team in T20s. There are two such teams in the playoffs – SRH & DC. #SRHvsDC #Eliminator

So Manjrekar just randomly decided Ishant Sharma shouldn't be bowling another over after his first even when he has been good in powerplay this season. And Ishant gets the first wicket. #IPL2019 #DCvSRH
