It is not often the case when we see Chris Gayle chasing a ball towards the boundary ropes. Gayle is not at the top of his fitness as he is 39 years old and generally likes to stroll on the ground while running between the wickets as well as fielding. Meanwhile, it was the 18th over of the Sunrisers Hyderabad batting innings when Gayle went to chase the ball.
Mujeeb ur Rahman produced the outside edge of Kane Williamson which went through the third man region. Gayle was fielding at short third man and sprinted towards the boundary lines to stop the ball. However, Gayle got a bit of a bad bounce and unintentionally kicked the ball into the boundary cushions.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad has posted an above par score of 212 runs after Kings XI Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin won the toss and decided to bowl first.
David Warner continued his love affair with the Kings XI Punjab bowlers as he scored his eighth fifty on the trot against the Punjab team. The southpaw batsman scored his 44th IPL fifty as he continued his dream form going.
Furthermore, Warner finished the IPL 2019 season with 692 runs, which is thus far most runs in the season. The left-hander scored a fine knock of 81 runs from 56 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes.

On the other hand, Wriddhiman Saha provided a quick start to his team. The right-hander scored a quickfire knock of 28 from only 13 balls with the help of three fours and one six.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Nabi and Kane Williamson provided the finishing touches to their team as both of them scored 10-ball 20 and 7-ball 14 respectively. However, Chris Gayle could only score four runs from three balls and failed to give a good contribution.
