The Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) head coach Tom Moody was seen sobbing following the elimination of Kane Williamson-led side during a thrilling eliminator on May 8.
Australian-based heartbroken Moody revealed through his emotions that how he has been involved with the franchise.
As soon as Keemo Paul hit the winning runs on the penultimate delivery of the Delhi Capitals‘ innings, Moody in the dugout wore a dejected look. It further saw him breaking into tears.
Moody has been optimistic about his wards:

However, Moody is associated with the franchise since it came to the fore following the exclusion of now-defunct Deccan Chargers. The IPL franchise Chargers was terminated on legal grounds.
Pertinently, the high-flying Capitals had made it to the Qualifier 2nd on Wednesday night as they pipped Hyderabad by two wickets in a nerve-wracking contest at Vizag.
Amid a couple of jolts Hyderabad although gave a scare to Shreyas Iyer-led side, but the Capitals were enough prepared to seal the thrilling game.
In the eliminator, Iyer won the toss and decided to ball first. In the first six overs, SRH managed to post 54; however, the quality bowling saw Hyderabad finding it difficult in the middle overs.
In the end, Sunrisers managed to post 162 for eight in 20 overs.
In response, Prithvi Shaw found the form, but Delhi were in all sorts of bother when they were struggling at 11 for five before making it to the fourth quarter of their innings.
However, in between, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has played a quickfire 21-ball 49-run knock to ease things up for the Capitals.
The 2018 semi-finalists had claimed a single IPL title which came under the leadership of David Warner in 2016.
Overall, Hyderabad’s road to the playoffs hasn’t been that impressive. The remarkable show from David Warner and Jonny Bairstow have had set the plinth early on. But the bleak-looking middle-order has messed things up for the Hyderabad team.
Currently, Warner is the leading run scorer in the IPL with 692 runs in 12 matches.
Besides, SRH managed to make it to the playoffs following a better run-rate. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) have also won six games each.
Thus, SRH has finished fourth on the list with six wins in 14 matches.
