Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma turned 3 today and the whole cricketing fraternity took to their Twitter handle and wished the Indian vice-captain in the limited overs matches for his 32nd birthday. Rohit Sharma has been a champion batsman for India especially in the limited overs format of the game and has been one of the most prolific run scorers in the shorter formats.

Meanwhile, it was Yuvraj Singh, a part of the Mumbai Indians squad this season who took to his Twitter handle to wish his skipper on this special day. Taking to his twitter handle, Yuvraj Singh wrote, “Hitman you beauty! May God bless you always. You know I love your chubby cheeks more than you. Have an awesome day brother man happiest birthday. @ImRo45 #HappyBirthdayrohit.”

Yuvraj Singh who is part of the Mumbai Indians squad was initially selected in the playing XI for the first few matches. He began with a half-century against the Delhi Capitals. In a match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, he smashed Yuzvendra Chahal for 3consecutive sixes before holding out in the deep.

He was dropped after a few matches in place of Ishan Kishan. He might not be in the radar to get into the Playing XI for the rest of the tournament. However, with Yuvraj, you never know. A comeback for MI might still be on the cards in the last few matches of the tournament. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are currently 3rd in the points table with 7 victories from 12 matches. They need to win at least one match either against Sunrisers Hyderabad or the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has yet again led his troops to perfection. He has provided good starts to his franchise. However, he hasn’t managed t get a big score under his belt. However, in the match against the Chennai Super Kings, he roared back to form and played a good knock of 67 which ensured Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings for the 2nd time in the competition.
