A total of 971 players have registered their names for the upcoming players’ auction for IPL 2020. Among these names, 713 are Indian, and 258 are overseas cricketers.
On Monday (2nd December), the Indian Premier League (IPL) has announced the details of the final players’ registration for the IPL 2020 players’ auction, which had the last date on 30th November 2019. Now, the IPL teams will submit their shortlisted players until 5:00 PM IST on 9th December 2019. The auction will be conducted according to the final shortlist.

From Australia and South Africa, 50+ cricketers have registered their names for the upcoming auction of IPL 2020
Unlike the previous IPL auction in Bengaluru, this time Kolkata will host the IPL players’ auction on 19th December 2019.

A total of 258 non-Indians have registered their names for the forthcoming IPL auctions. Australia has the most number of players on this list, which is 55. South Africa is in the second position in this list – 54.
A good number of players from Sri Lanka (39), West Indies (34), New Zealand (24), England (22) and Afghanistan (19) also listed their names for the upcoming auction. Six Bangladesh players and three Zimbabwe players have also added their names in the same list. Only two associate nations’ players have joined in this list – one from the Netherlands and the other one from the USA.
