The burly Chris Gayle started his journey in the IPL with Kolkata Knight Riders. He then shifted the base to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and played for them from 2011-2017. After giving an impressive performance for RCB, Gayle moved to KXIP in 2018 and currently, plays for them.

During the World Cup 2019, there were speculations that he might retire from the game, but he amazed by his decision to continue to play. Albeit, he hasn’t featured with his team after the World Cup.

However, KXIP has retained him for the 13th edition. And, we can also not forget his match-winning ability. The hard-hitting batsman has played 125 IPL matches and scored 4,484 runs at the strike rate of 151.02.
