Chris Gayle – Fastest Centuries in T20I – Gayle’s century came in a losing cause which was hurting to see. West Indies batting first in the inaugural edition of T20 World cup scored 205 runs but the home team chased it down to hand West Indies team a loss. Gayle though batted at a strike rate of 205.26 smashing 10 sixes and 7 fours.

Brendon McCullum – Fastest Centuries in T20I – The Kiwi opener was the first player to score a century for his country in this format. He went for all attack right from the first over and batted with a strike rate of over 200. His 8 sixes were the highlight of the day. Riding on his innings the New Zealand posted 214 runs on the board, the match was tied and New Zealand team won the one-over eliminator.

Babar Hayat – Not the first time a century has come in a losing cause. In the qualifying stage of T20 World cup 2016, Hong Kong was chasing the huge target and was on right track riding on a century from Babar Hayat but no support from the other end was the reason behind the team’s loss.
