In the IPL 2018, while the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Kane Williamson (New Zealand) won the Orange Cap after scoring 735 runs, Delhi Daredevils (DD) young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant finished as the second most run-scorer in that tournament. The left-handed Indian youngster scored 684 runs in 14 matches (average 52.61 and strike-rate 173.60). Pant hit an only century and five half-centuries in that tournament, and his best knock was 128 not out.
