While Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) finished the IPL 2011 as the runners-up, Virat Kohli was one of the big reason for that result as the RCB right-handed batsman finished as the second most run-scorer in that tournament (The Caribbean star Chris Gayle, who was also Kohli’s teammate in that tournament, won the Orange Cap for scoring 608 runs). In that tournament, Kohli scored 557 runs in 16 games with an average of 46.41 and strike-rate of 121.08, including four 50+ scores. His highest score in that tournament was 71 runs.
