While Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won their second IPL trophy, Robin Uthappa won the Orange Cap after scoring 660 runs in 16 matches with an average of 44.00 and strike-rate 137.78. The right-handed Indian batsman hit five half-centuries in the IPL 2014, including his best knock of 83 not out.
