Former India captain MS Dhoni has not returned to the field ever since India’s exit from the 2019 World Cup tournament and his future in the Indian national cricket team is not confirmed yet. India head coach Ravi Shastri and the national selectors have since then given mixed reviews about Dhoni’s future.

Recently, MSK Prasad told that the Indian team management has moved on from Dhoni. On the contrary, Shastri still believes that Dhoni has still got a lot of cricket left in him.

The head coach went on to add saying that Dhoni needs to make a strong statement in the upcoming IPL – to get ready for national team selection.
