Mitchell Starc

The 30-year-old Australian left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc is currently one of the best left-arm fast bowlers in the present international cricket. Though some fitness issues have affected his career, Starc has always returned in a strong way.
Starc made his international debut in 2010, and slowly but steadily he grew up as one of the top left-arm pacers. Due to the fitness issues, he sometimes puts restrictions in any particular format, but he is undoubtedly that kind of pacer who can be used in every format.
Till the date, Starc has played 57 Tests, 91 ODIs and 31 T20Is where the left-arm fast bowler has scalped 244, 178 and 43 wickets respectively. In-form Starc is always dangerous for any kind of batsmen. Apart from holding so many records in cricket, Starc was the most wicket-taker in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 (22 wickets; joint-most wicket-taker with Trent Boult) and ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 (27 wickets). While he played a crucial role for Australia’s winning fifth Cricket World Cup in the 2015 edition, Starc won the Player of the Tournament award.
